This is a photograph that I took of my friend Heather, in an abandoned Diner on the side of Route 22 in upstate New York.

It is hand printed on Fiber Based paper and is mounted and matted on museum board. This is one of my favorite photographs because of the way the light falls on the old tile floor.

Heather is now in graduate school pursuing a Masters of Education so she can teach in upstate New York.

I don't think that this Diner is still there. I'm not sure where it went, but when I was in California working on my ski film, I ate at a Diner in Truckee California which was shipped in 4 years previous from somewhere upstate, I always wondered if it was the same one.
